BENDIGO and Adelaide Bank is making its first step overseas with an agency agreement in Nauru.
IT will conduct banking services through an existing outlet in the small Pacific nation, returning banking services to the population of 10,000 after a 15 year absence.
In the past 12 months the bank has conducted several banking days to allow locals to open accounts, and it has 1,500 customers at present.
